Not effing around, Espada has McCormick batting 6th instead of Abreu. Talk about different philosophies between him and Dusty. One is proactive and the other was just, er uh, a dumbass.

Managers are generally rated by how well their team does. Sometimes, good managers are handed bad teams. Other times bad managers are handed good teams. We can try and say whether a team over or underachieved. My point is, Espada was handed a good team. If we end up with a good record, I am not sure how to evaluate Espada. I suppose if we are great this year rather than just good or very good, Espada grade is good. Around here, I think most hope/expect us to take the division from the Rangers. Espada's report card may hinge on that outcome.
