Can we finally get to a pitching debutante for a change? I get tired of making them look like Cy Young candidates.
I think it's a near certainty that Bregman rests on Sunday so tomorrow may be the day Dusty sits Diaz and the original regulars all start. I think we all still have some PTSD of seeing a starter sit and knowing it's a huge drop off to Robel or the first half of the season version of Jones. There's not much of a drop off now, if any, when a starter rests.
Except Bregman in Sugar Land. Bregman went 0-2, but now he's seen his pitches so look for him to have a good day.
Altuve's energy level is low so he needs to sit? Hell if we are using energy levels to determine who does what Dusty should have quit after week one. Bakers energy level is equivalent to McClains walking speed...non existent...

Having Tucker and Bregman back REALLY HELPS.
It goes against the grain of the old school Gehrigs and Ripkins who played every day. We're getting softer and spoiled.
I get Bregman being sat but i mean lets not pretend like the rest days havent been questionable most of the season. Also Jones had a good homestand. Doesnt mean there isnt a drop off
This kid is Otto-matic. yuck yuck....but really, you get YA on 2nd and CC, Breg and Tucker go quietly into the night.
