Chas has something Straw doesn’t. Power.

At this point, Dusty has to give Chas some more opportunities. He’s earned it.

His opposite field power doesn’t seem to be a fluke.

Same pitch, same spot, same result, to the same spot, that Abreu threw to Garcia last night

I agree, but will say that Straw has looked much better at the plate the past week or so

I agree. I like his selectiveness and he usually swings at strikes while making the pitcher work.

would like to see more extra base potential especially if he’s not going to attempt to steal.

Defense still a WIP. It’s better... but he’s still literally learning the position.

Dusty could simply say more speed.

McCullers wants a 90 PC in the 3rd inning

Well, those 2 innings took an hour.

eta: and what the **** was Tucker doing on that last fly ball. Chas is calling it the whole time, Tucker just wanders over and stands next to him as he's making the catch

They're not going to chase your out of the zone breaking ball if you keep showing them how erratic you are.

Should have pulled him after 2.1 like I predicted.

lance still should see Frambers psychologist. He’s gotta do something different to prepare for road starts. We have 5 years worth of data now. Minute Maid park isn’t the Astrodome.
