[Official] Astros @ Rangers

It ended in a tie and the Astros had five more runs scored in the season series and won the tie breaker so they retain the boot.

 

Well they get to go play with other cheaters. What tarnished our team was Manfred forcing the Astros to take the fall for MLB. The media pretends like the Astros operated in a sign stealing vacuum. It’s ludicrous. Nothing to be done about it now.

 

Twins are a worse match up honestly.

 

How do we know? We haven't played them this season. Oh paper maybe. But, you're talking about an Astros team that has trouble hitting pitchers with ERAs over 7.

 

So both the 2020 Astros and Brewers take the podium along with the 1981 Kansas City Royals to make the playoffs with records below 0.500.

The A's kicked our a$$ all year long. At least the Twins haven't seen Javier, Urquidy, Paredes, Scrubb, or Taylor before. Framber also has pitched okay against the Twins with a 1.86 ERA in 9 2/3 innings.

I expect Javier to be the first guy out of the pen.

 

Twins are a good hitting team, but that is completely based on the long ball.
Their SP hasn't been consistent but most are wily, experienced. They can easily lock down the Stros bats for 2 games. Though their relief is a bit shaky, and their manager has been quick to pull starters during the regular season.

Also they are 24-7 at home, best in MLB this year. Stros are 9-23 on the road, 5th worst in MLB this year.

Also, I have no idea why the A's won their game. They should have tanked it away to play the Astros instead of the White Sox.

 

I didn't know Stan Van Gundy hated the Astros so much.

 

The worst part is having a national broadcast for the playoffs. The cheating stuff is going to get real old. Might have to listen to the Astros radio broadcast.

 

Since when does ABC air MLB games? Maybe they will have Stan Van Gundy calling PBP.

Iong ball eh? Where will the series take place? A pitcher's ballpark? Also I think Oakland fears Houston.

 

I mean it's the Twin's home stadium. They have hit 43 of 91 HR there this year and 137 of 307 HR last year.

So, I'm pretty sure they are used to their home ballpark..

The 3 game series against the Twins is in Minnesota. If we win we go to the ALDS in LA and play the winner of A's vs White Sox in Dodger Stadium. Then the ALCS would be in San Diego.
