Nobody's turning on anybody, you jack-hole... this is what being a fan is. You can blindly cheer, rationalize, vent, admit failure, or be completely dejected... that's the 5 stages of watching a team lose.
Not really. If they win 9 in a row, they'll easily be in the division lead (considering 3 of those will be against the Rangers). What is not guaranteed is those 6 road games against non-playoff teams to end the season. And who the hell was in charge when that Arizona series was put on the schedule? This really should be all division games to end it all.
Think about this.... That is almost 25% of the season.... 9 wins.... Down 2? Typical Astros fashion would be to lose 4-3, but I am feeling 6-2. Seriously like a 5% chance we win this game.
Teams that cannot advance runners, put the ball in play, run the bases smart, throw runners out on steals.... Don't win 9 straight games.
You're joking, right? Maybe he should just not run as hard and never get to any ball in the gap that only 2 or 3 other outfielders in baseball could have a prayer of getting to.... then it won't seem like he "messes up again".
that's the point..it's not working. none of this is working. it's frustration. if we weren't fans we wouldn't care. no one sticks with this ***** show of a franchise if they're not a fan. as evidenced by the empty seats for the last 5 years. the fact anyone who is left to care enough to be pissed off evidences those people are fans.....even if they kinda wish they weren't.
McCullers pitched a very good game, only 1 bad pitch. Another game where the bullpen did not do the job, and maybe the 2 best arms (VV and Feliz) never trusted to be that 1 inning guy. They where mop up guys, to pitch 3 innings when losing by 20 and pitch the 9th when winning by 40.
we basically have to go 8-2 at home to make up for this s**t monsoon we got ourselves under. you can't let those rangers punk you like that. wish a.j would change his "we don't play that way" stance. minny losing.
This time it's going to carry over to the home games, I'm afraid. It's amazing how much more miserable this would be if not for a 9th inning miracle the other night.
