Yeah... that's a whole 20% of their actual existence... or in Astros lineup terms, a good batting average.
It isn't bad luck... That narrative needs to stop.... When it happens over and over and over again, defying odds... It isn't bad luck. It is a flaw or more exact a series of flaws being exploited. At first people said Greg Maddux' success was luck... Not with a large sample size.
No half this offense needs to go play in the Mexican league with Huerta and that fat first baseman we got a few years ago....
down 1 run as you write this...with a team that has come back late plenty this season--including a couple of weeks ago edit: sorry, on mlb.tv and delayed. Down 2, f'ing Conger, etc.
Conger is horrible No way I would put him in a game to play defense over Stassi..hell i'd put Gattis back there at this point before him Don't we have ANY defensive catcher in the minors that could come up and help us at least on defense damn
Oh believe me, I know. I just am thoroughly annoyed that I can single-handedly remember every single road win over the last 3 months as if I was following a FOOTBALL team. Hell, even some of those 9 road wins were improbable/barely wins.... the one last Sunday being one of them.
