Josh @jortle @brianmctaggart Serious question: With all the advanced stats Astros keep, why not put the best pitchers out for away games? 8:22 PM - 16 Sep 2015 hmmm..heck anything is worth a shot
I don't have the numbers, but it feels like when we went back to the 5 men rotation pitchers just did not pitch as good as when they had the 6 man rotation.
I mean can you imagine what calgonero would be saying had Feliz scooted through those innings 1-2-3? Can you imagine?? He probably had his posts all fired up and ready to spam the forums with. Now where is he? Nowhere to be found? Ignoring and blocking?
Meltdown by the team is incredible too. Team melts down, fans melt down!!

Bad math: #Astros are 4-10 in rough September, 2-7 on horrible road trip, 1.5 games behind #Rangers for first place in AL West.
— Brian T. gotcha..gonna be an interesting next 2 weeks...hopefully we can get players injured back in the lineup much sooner than later
Thx for posting...Greg Swindell nailed it...just the reality of it from top down..Astros trying to defy this logic

The Dallas Board probably has this thread linked and they're having a field-day. Yet at MMP, they act like they've been there.
Once the Astros lose tomorrow, and yes I'm already saying their losing tomorrow, they better sweep the home stand to stand a chance. I mean go freakin' 9-0!!!!
To some forum members, chill out, don't take it personal on other people, the team is playing bad, so what. Guys, tonight Chile had an earthquake, big one, people are suffering, and you guys are mad because our astros lost a ****ing game? Come on guys, chill out, stop the fighting with forum members, JUST IGNORE US if you don't like what you read, i am doing that, easier for everyone. Tonight is the night of ROBERTO CLEMENTE, best puertorican player, who died in a plane crash because he was sending food to the people of Nicaragua who had an earthquake and government was stealing the food, so he decided to go himself. He died minutes after take off. There are more important things in life than a freaking game, why fight becasue of it? We are ALL FRUSTRATED, MAD, but why fight with each other? Are the AStros playing awful? Yes. Do we want that to happen? No. But, reality is that is happening, let people express themselves and don't insult others because of it. Well, the closer of the Tigers, with an ERA of 6.43 just blew the lead, INCREDIBLE.
Before yesterday's game, Pallilo said he wasn't in panic-mode until Keuchel, the ace, lost. Not only did he lose.... well, we know what happened. Winning tomorrow would be a huge boost for the team's (and this board's) morale, but it's difficult to see it happening. McCullers was worse than Kuechel last time in Arlington and has mostly sucked on the road. He was good @LA his last outing though, so at least he has that for potential confidence tomorrow.
