Only thing could be worse would be the astros storming back to only fall short by 1 run loosing this game like the other 1 run games
But they are playing with house money, right now!! We are still a year or two away from being real contenders. We should just enjoy the team growing. :grin: I think that's where I'm most disappointed with this team. Way too complacent for a team with a real chance to win now by banking on the future. The front office knew at the trade deadline that we needed more starting pitching, better relievers and some more power/consistency in the lineup. Well they got Kazmir and stumbled onto Fiers, but did little else to solve the other problems of this team. Perez is ehh and while Gomez was getting better before his, he has been a horrible batter overall. Don't even get me started on the 1B situation. Carter and Singleton were horrible this whole season and we have two studs in the minor leagues tearing it up, yet we don't even bring them up?! What is that logic?! We could be cruising to the playoffs with a real shot of winning the whole thing if we weren't so complacent. Wasted opportunity.
