Why the hell didn't Correa barrel into the Rangers second baseman instead of trying to sidestep the tag? He was in his runner's lane and Correa is a hell of a lot bigger. Should have ran right over him and knocked the ball free.

Yeah. That's exactly what you want your 20yr old franchise shortstop doing. The GARM truly has invaded.

So HINCH Lost about 10-20 games this season doing the same idiotic BS we saw tonight and he STILL hasn't learned. Idiotic Baseball Management. Any one of us would have the common sense to understand what the NEGATIVE PATTERN has been with the astros going into late innings. For whatever reason Hinch hasn't figured it out...after at least 20 games of loosing like tonight.

    Unbelievable

Is a pity that all things we've said about this team for the past 3 plus months HAS HAPPENED.

Conger vs lefties? Well, tonight cost us as he could not drive the runner from third with no outs. Ok, yes, Castro is injured, but why hit the guy 7th???????
Gattis, one of worse DH in the majors, and continues to play, and of course, TUCKER DID NOT PLAY. i don't care if is a lefty, i don't want to see Gattis anymore, i want TUCKER.
We've said the bullpen was not good enough, but we had 2 guys with great stuff that needed to be used in tough spots and help us win games. Well, Toronto did it with their closer, Osuna, and Rangers with set up pitcher, Kela. Why can they do it and we can't?
Now, do we have any other alternatives? We have to stick with relievers that are NOT pitching good.
Our relievers have been awful, Kazmir is pitching and what happen? Our great manager takes him out eventough he only had 93 pitches thrown, and made only 1 mistake in 7 innings. Well, Harris made 1 mistake with 2 batters.

Hinch continues to struggle with lineups, moves in the bullpen, with Correa hitting, a 3 and 2 count and Altuve was NOT running???

I think the big stage is TOO BIG for Hinch.

Come on guys, at least we didn't overpay for back-end bullpen help like Chapman or Kimbrel. What a disaster it would have been to COMPLETELY mortgage the future for a legit closer and move Gregerson to his rightful place as a setup man.

    /sarcasm

I think every loss should be attributed to Hinch, don't you?

I mean, he is the manager... right? If the starter gets pounded, its his fault for not realizing it sooner. If the bats aren't swinging well, he probably chose the wrong lineup and put them in the wrong order. If the bullpen gives it up, we know he made the wrong choice... and if they don't score more runs than the other team, somehow Hinch always finds a way to lose those games!

I mean, Carlos Delgado would be a better manager, no??? McOUGH!

Hinch is unable to make those kind of moves, the guy is horrible. Imagine our team with a guy like Maddon.

Hinch does make some questionable decisions.

Hopefully he snaps out of it.

Astros are down, but not out.
