His failure to pinch hit for Valbuena in key spots cost him two wins I feel. Jed and Marwin I believe deliver and at least tie the game in those spots and the team would have had that elusive momentum they couldn't get this series.

Problem is Lowrie was not going to play the field yesterday, so pinch hitting him that early in the game and burning both Valbuena and Lowrie, wasn't gonna happen. They had actually said Lowrie wasn't going to play 3 in a row yet, and they let him play Monday. So he was pinch hit and nothing last night basically, so it was too early. Not trying to say Hinch is pulling all the right strings right now, but the makeup of the roster isn't ideal. Sure hope Tucker is ok, and if he isn't we HAVE to get another healthy OF up by tomorrow night, can't have Marisnick hitting in big situations, if at all
Astros are learning how to win consistently as well as on the road. These other teams have been to the World Series, have gotten at least into the playoffs year after year. When the Astros get over the "mental hump" holding them back from winning big games consistently on the road then the rest of the league better WATCH OUT!
No, but i saw that movie before just before the All Star break. Angels have an easy schedule, and we are on the road for 6 more games. We don't win series, so We cold see 2 and 4 with those teams, IF WE ARE LUCKY, and Angels are playing Orioles at home, and White Sox on the road. They can go 4 and 2 easily. If that happens, then they will be ahead of us as they will have better percentage number. I hope it does not happen, but, it looks like it will. We lost a series with McCullers and Kazmir pitching, our number 2 and 3 guy in the rotation, not looking good guys, hope we reverse it, but its been a long time struggling big time on the road.

Just need to figure a way to win. One night we score a lot and have a historically bad pitching performance from a guy who has been great. Then we can't hit with risp next night. Then we get horrendous defense to start a game, which otherwise we likely win. Something different each night. Oakland has the worst record in the AL, and they sold at the deadline. Really need to go out there and take 3 of 4. Would not only help in the standings, but mentally too
Well, you ARE NOT a loser, the ONLY losers here are the AStros on the road. I understand you are MAD and FRUSTRATED because we lost, and things are not looking good, and as a fan, i like to vent my frustration writing, and usually, correct things. We don't need to look at numbers to SEE what is wrong here. We ALL knew we sucked on the road, without looking at numbers. Now, some people have looked, and come with numbers proving what we ALL SEE, which is how bad this team is on the road. Can they change it? I hope they do. CAn i trust they will? Not at the moment. Maybe when Springer is back again.
