CWS are 2-17 against the Indians.

At least we weren't the only ones.

I saw on Twitter that the Cubs record vs the NL Central is nearly identical to the Astros record vs. the AL West.

I believe the Colt .45s were 1-17 against the Phillies in 1962.

After this season, the Rangers will have just as many World Series championships as the Astros.

Yep. This is nothing new. It has been the norm in baseball. It isn't fair, and it isn't going to magically become fair.

And the national baseball writers are all up in arms about the Astros record vs. the AL West like it's an unheard of tragedy.

Yeah, Randy Galloway was pontificating on the radio yesterday about how much of a "disgrace" the ALastros were to the "integrity" of the game and about how Selig should be held accountable for not forcing Judas Crane to enforce a salary floor with this team. And he wasn't the only one - ALL of the Dallas radio talking heads were chirping the same thing. I had to really laugh out loud as all of their "concern" and "outrage" just so happened to manifest itself at AFTER the Rangers finished their three game sweep of the ALastros. It really is comforting to know just how they care about the poor long suffering Houston baseball fans.

And (hopefully) will have played just as many playoff games the last 2 years.
