Talk about facing some serious offense two series in a row. Cubs are the best so far in the NL and the Rangers are probably top 3 or 4 in the AL so far this season.

speaking of imbalanced schedules, how the hell do the cubs not have to play either the yankees or the red sox this year?

is this just a case of the mlb attempting to rig the schedule to get their beloved cubbies into the postseason, luck of the draw, or what?

Yea, hopefully are pitchers step up against Chicago. Luckily we won't see Zambrano during the series, which is usually an automatic loss.

Funny, the Rangers have a good offense, but in the same number of games, and without a DH, the Astros are only 3 runs behind them in total.

Oh yes baby...Houston has a good offense too.

The thing that really jumps out at me is it seems that Wiggy does not move his lead foot when he swings. Normally, you take that half step forward to give power to your swing. All of his power comes from his upper body, and his feet pivot. That causes him to get off balance. Somebody needs to tell him that he won't get called for travelling. :D

Moehler versus the Cubs lineup... hmmm. Reason for concern?

Soriano has started to turn it on. Then, there is the little matter of the rest of their lineup: Theriot, Lee, Ramirez, Fukudome, Soto, DeRosa... There aren't many breaks for a pitcher in their.

Think of the Rangers' offense on steroids... OK, bad choice of words. Let's say a better version of the offense we just faced in Arlington.

I do wonder if Moehler will have a tough time getting to sleep tonight. If he can make it through 5 and give up 4 runs or less, I'd say he did a fantastic job.

We'll probably need Bourn and/or Wigginton/Towles to show up if we want to win this series.

Cy Young versus the Cubs lineup is reason for concern right now.

Good game, good series, Astros fans. We'll see what happens in H-Town next month. Too bad I won't be able to go this year because the games are mid-week this time. Oh well, hopefully some Ranger fans can represent. Good luck to the Astros in the rest of their games and Go Rangers. Oh, and the Cardinals suck. Something we can all be happy about. :)

No hateful impression. I read a lot more negativity from your posts, as a whole. It's tiring, particularly with a play-by-play approach to it.
