By the way, the Astros game is the MLB.TV game of the day: free broadcast.

Though if you live in Houston you're ***** out of luck because for some dumb reason they blackout the local team even if they're playing away.

How many crappy AAAA players have hit in the 3-hole for Houston this season? Buck, Fernando Martinez, Bixler, Scott Moore.

They may as well play Dominguez in the 3-hole for the rest of the season.

Mills seems to think the #3 is for unproven and struggling players

I don't think he's a terrible manager (he's no Cecil) but so many of his decisions are impulsive. I assume its to ride the hot hand from AAA when everyone, save Altuve/Lowrie, is sucking it up. But it just looks goofy.

He reorders the lineup basically every day. I've seen 3 day stretches where JD moved from the 4 spot to 7 spot to the bench. Peter Griffin has two words for Brad Mills "C'mon....."

Can anyone watching the game give some impressions of Matt Dominguez?

He's 0-2 with a strikeout. Does his approach look okay or does he look overwhelmed?

This team is so painful to watch. Just a collection of many, many uninteresting players.

and the team is at least 2-3 years away from even being remotely competitive. Crane better be careful -- this team is going to COMPLETELY lose the city fast. It's already close to being there now.

Watching his first AB, he reminded me of Morgan Ensberg....

He watched the first pitch curve ball drop in for a strike and then watched a fastball right down the middle.

He then chased a curve that fell low and away for strike 3.

I have to imagine he knew what was at stake in a full rebuild. We're not the first club to do it. Besides the team was hemorrhaging fans the last few seasons under Uncle Drayton anyway.

Sports fan are fickle; 90% of fans are bandwagon. When the Astros are good again, the Juicebox will be full. Crane's just gonna take his lumps here and now.

Another case of bat-on-shoulder-itis. Got it. Thanks man.

That describes the entire lineup though - I don't know that Mills really has a choice.
