LOL, my girl is back in Tx. I'm here with family, haven't had a "family" vacation in YEARS. Nice to get together with them again. Just got back from a bike trip where we road down from the top of a volcano's crest to the ocean. It was amazing. Enjoying this beer, then off to the Iao Valley rainforest. Come on Astros! Glad I missed the Roy O no show.
I know baseball is a looong season and a team has many ups and downs....but when is the last time an Astros team played well throughout the whole season instead of a few good weeks followed by a few bad. Maybe the last year Dierker managed (not counting the flame out in the divisional series).
This really sucks . I was telling my brother earlier when the team was on their scoring run , that when they stopped hitting it was gonna be ugly . I just didn't think it was going to happen so soon . The pitching staff is starting to come around to being what many thought it would be , not good at all . If they don't get their **** together , they are gonna be out of any type of playoff hopes real soon .
I think that's the right move right now. Does him no good to sit on the bench, he needs to be playing somewhere. If Bourn keeps struggling, and they are still in contention near the end of the month, I'd start looking into Kenny Loften.
