    No dude, walks are for sissies. He needs to get that bat off his shoulders and get some RBIs. Plate discipline, on base average, walks, all meaningless.

    3 runs is nice...just hope we can pad the lead as I dont expect Wheeler to be avaialble after throwing 3 innings last night.

    In the 6 spot on this team with Ausmus, Everett, and a pitcher coming up after him, walks *are* useless. In a leadoff spot, walks are very helpful. Ensberg is great for the 2 spot to get people on base for Berkman/Scott/Huff.

    65 pitches over 5 innings, we'll need another 2, possibly 3 more innings out of that arm. Hopefully, the good guys can play add-on this inning and make it easy for the bullpen. Heck, maybe Wandy can get some mop-up work!

    Yeah, but if the Stros don't make the postseason....Roy will sit on his couch WATCHING the Mets and Cardinals!!!
