Beggars can't be choosers... lets just focus on extending the game to extras.

    Thank you.

Now lets take the lead, however it'll be way tougher with this bad lineup and all of our good hitters out of the game. I wish Biggio would just launch a fastball and be done with it.

You've got Scott.. If memory serves me correctly I think he just did that 15 minutes ago. I could be wrong about that though. :D

At least we're in a position to win now...an actually this whole team has contributed in putting runs across the plate during this streak. Maybe it's Ausmus' turn tonight.

Crazy order you got there... here's the correct one:
    Biggio
    Palmeiro
    Ausmus
    Lane
    Willy T
    Lamb
    Berkman
    Pitcher
    Bruntlett

pujols stole a base earlier, got into scoring position and scored from 2nd on rolen's single.

at the same time, he drove in padre's only run as well.

If Biggio could have learned to lay off that pitch at any point in his career he would have way more amazing numbers than he already has.

Pete Rose was on "Quiet Frankly" the other night, and when asked as to his prediction for the postseason, he said he liked the Yanks to come out from the AL but nobody from the NL...except if the Astros manage to squeeze into the playoffs, then he believes they are the only team capable of beating the Yankees; "I love their chances with Clemens, Oswlt, and Pettite in a seven game series."

But yes, you're right, Wilbon predicted this on PTI...
