we also have an early game tomorrow so using a lot of pitchers can be dangerous.

we just need to score some runs.

We need to get to Chacon. If it gets late in the game, the Pirates can go to their bullpen full of lefties and have us in a lot of trouble. I can't believe we're not getting better swings on Chacon than we have so far.

You have to feel fortunate that we're only down two runs at this stage. Time to make Chacon pay.

This is demoralizing. Check swing popouts to short and third. Strikeouts in the dirt. And these are from the heart of the order. What is Chacon doing differently?

Great job, Craig. Now, you've essentially wasted the next inning too with the 7-8-9 hitters due up. It'd be great it Garner wouldn't waste a lineup spot during one of the most critical weeks in the history of this franchise on a player who has no business being out there (relative to Burke).

Biggio has been playing a lot better than Burke during this streak..it's not crazy to bat him in that spot. Relax, fellas. We'll be fine.

Unreal. What can you do? When the term choke is referenced, it doesn't need to be in reference to the Cardinals... it needs to be in reference to the first four innings of this game. This is as poorly as this team has played all season.

you can't bring in albers. if there a replacement this inning it has to be springer or someone whos only going to be in for an out of two so you can pinch hit for him at the top of the 5th.

It's the time to get Hirsh out the game.

He has some potential but he is not ready yet.

We cant afford give out 1 run each inning.

Hirsh finally removed, he has absolutely nothing tonight. This could cost us dearly. Bats must start to hammer Chacon.
