On ESPN.com they have a poll on the front page about who is the biggest threat to the NY Mets in the playoffs ... Of course you have the normal regional state by state voting with Penn. going Phillies, Texas going Astros, and Cali going Dodgers, but I think the telling thing is that NY is most scared of the Astros :)

POCKET ROCKETS, that is AUSOME that you got to talk to ESPN! :D THey NEVER talk to me, :( .

GUYS, I am a rookie. I cant start thraeds! I read Alison Foter's mail and she says Derek Wheeller is going to be a starter in 2007! I think Derek Wheeler will be a good starter. I think DErek Wheeler can win 20 games. I also think Andy Pettitt can retire if Derek Wheeler can win 20 games for the Astros! What do you gys think?!

As for me finally getting through to ESPN, felt great. I had that brick preparred all night to chuck at Morgan's face. (joe)

Derek wheeler? Do you mean Dan Wheeler? He's our closer. not starter.

Hirsh scares the crap out of me! I'm holding my breath every time he throws a pitch.

I am also terrified of Hirsh, don't we all miss Brandon Backe right now? I do think that we will eventually get to Chacon and score a few runs, but we need Hirsh to step up or let the bullpen take over, this game is to important to let him stay out there, as he is getting knocked around.

I have a feeling Hirsch won't go too deep tonight. Even if he only gives up 2 runs...I feel like he's a walking timebomb tonight, the Pirates are getting good hits off him.

And just as I say that... damn, keep it close will ya!

Get Hirsh out. Now. Use the entire bullpen, doesn't matter. Oswalt can go deep tomorrow.
