I would like to continue posting about the Cards in here, to maintain consitency and superstitions....you NEVER frack with a winning streak. However, I will adhere to whatever ruling Castor decides, as he does this on his own time, and it is much appreciated. But....I implore you Castor to lock the thread......keep the streak alive !! DD
I'm not going to lock the other thread but I am also not going to move/deleteor warn about anything in this thread either. How is that for being indecisive Edit: If I really want to screw the Cards I need to edit in a W-L poll. The series I posted polls for the Astros, they lost pretty badly, if I recall.
OMFG...I'm so stoked about the Stros win...And of course the Cards lost which I'll post in a little...
Just like everyone said - the stros had a win streak in them and had to eventually put it together. They are doing it now!!
This is just unreal. There is still a lot of ground to catch up and the Astros are running out of games, but the magic has to continue.

Cool. I have to say, this past week has almost felt like the playoffs. I'm so pumped up for each game, watching religiously. And man, it's just been so much fun. GO STROS!
Go Stros, one game at a time.................They must not take the Pirates too easily........if the games are too easy they will lose their edge............Keeping eating Pirates and shiiting out Ws and this will keep the pressure on the 64' Phillies, err '06 Cards.
I also loved the post where one fan quoted another (who had said that the Astros were bound to lose a game at some point, and hopefully the Cards would win that day) and said that the Astros were gonna win out.
Five game seven's in a row. You know the players are sky high. They know they are in the "playoffs" NOW. I officially declare this Astro World Series Week! Every pitch, every out, every second. This is why we are Astro fans! This is as much fun as last year, maybe more. The Cards may be done, at least mentally. Astros must just keep winning. I wish we could all be together in the same room so we could scream, jump, yell, and high-five ourselves silly.
It's a tradition. And you know they hate our guts for the last two years. That will make it just that much more fun beating them. Twelve straight and winning the division, THE GOAL! I am exhausted, I am going to bed. GO ASTROS, RUN THE TABLE!!!!
Wow, it was only a week or two ago I was making fun of the Stros for only being about 7-8 games better than the Pirates despite having twice their payroll. Now they're playing well and making a push for the NL Central. Congrats and best of luck to ya the rest of the way.
What if there is a 3 way tie between Cincinnati , Houston, and STL. How does MLB goes about the situation?
