Its possible that he steals some votes... but Brandon Webb may benefit from being the most consistent SP all year, and a guy who was in the Cy Young race from the beginning (thus, plenty of voters already made up their mind).
I gave up MLB.com this year for the Time Warner baseball package. It was WELL worth the cash, especially right now as I'm watching the Cards/Pads game. I will be buying it from here on out, no doubt. I'm really gonna be sad come next week when I have no late night West Coast games to fall asleep to though. I  me some baseball everynight much.
Some other good news, the Phillies have lost and the Dodgers are winning. This is important, becuase if LA wins the WC, we would play SD instead of the Mets in the 1st round. However, I'm not so sure I wouldn't want the Mets instead.
They still got six outs to get...let's see that badass bullpen come through. I wouldn't mind another four run inning for the Padres, either.
Just curious guys, how grim is the atmosphere there in STL? Just wondering if its as morbid as Wrigley's Spearmint field in 2004! LOL.
Their fans are always a little laid back (probably because they're so used to winning), so you really can't tell the difference. But, before Belliard hit those two jacks, it was like a funeral in the new Busch... and now since they've given the lead up, there are more moans and groans.
