I am looking forward to seeing Altuve batting 4th today....or 5th....or 9th...or wherever ****-for-brains Mills decides to throw him in the lineup.

    Today's lineup:

Also, you may notice that Jordan Lyles' name is listed in the #9 spot as the starter. Who went down for him?

Per Footer's twitter, Castro in 7th spot and Gonzalez in 8th spot.

Altuve has way too many errors this year.

It's been a while since I last saw a hit from J.D. Martinez... and of course, a GIDP has to follow.

Why is Matt Downs hitting 3rd? Have they changed the expectations of the #3 hitter from "best hitter" to "should be cut"?

His .191 ave isnt exactly stellar, and that includes his HR today. Although I probably wouldnt advocate cutting him, i wouldnt bat him 3rd either.

About the same as Albert Pujols.

Seriously, best pinch hitter in baseball last year, 3 HR in 47 ABs and only 6ks. Not cutting him any time soon.

Big thanks to Qualls and Pence for this little rally. Hoping they can get these two guys in off the kid making his MLB debut!

    Go 'Stros!!

I'm not watching the game but, how do you not score from first on a double to deep right from first. I swear I hate our third base coach way way too cautious.

I was exaggerating...somewhat. Yes, he was very good in that role last year. It's now this year and he's not been very good. Maybe not cut, but a trip back to AAA shouldn't be out of the question.

Should be noted that he also held up Bogey on JD's hit; Bogey only scored after Pence booted the ball trying to get a throw off into the infield.
