The quest for 162-0 starts here. I just hope it isn't 0-162. AS always, no PBP in the thread. If you need that try one of the gamecast sites. Keep discussion to this series. If it is not about this series it goes somewhere else. 4-1 Brett Myers, RHP vs. Roy Halladay, RHP 12:00 on ESPN/FSH 4-2 Wandy Rodriguez, LHP vs. Cliff Lee, LHP 6:05 on FSH 4-3 J.A. Happ, LHP vs. Roy Oswalt, RHP 12:35 on FSH Don't think Happ will get the Sunday start, but they still ahev him listed there.
Agreed with the above... Gotta go WWW with this one because after Sunday we'll all be going LLL for the rest of the season.
Finally. Rockets are done... I'll be at work for the game tomorow. Hope i can find it online on my phone.
I really need to call in sick tomorrow. Leaving in the afternoon to go camping for the weekend...but NEED to know that spring is here before I leave. There's only one true way to know that for sure... Opening Day is here.
And now, the annual several month beating up of the Astros. Predictable and painful. Two things we know for sure: they won't win more than they lose and they won't look good doing it. After that, then the Texans.
WWW! Hope or delusion... call it what you want, but today, everyone's in first place. Well... except for the Tigers and Nats. They've already lost today.
I am actually a long time Astro fan. I have several hats, jerseys etc. I have been to the games. I watch the games on TV. The last year or two, I have gotten really discouraged. They seem to have no direction. I can't identify or identify with any of the players. The big names or the familiar names are gone. The farm teams seem in shambles compared to other major league organizations. Maybe new ownership will right the ship and turn this thing around. Normally, I would be really excited.
sad to say but winning tomorrow might be the only shot that we have of being over .500 for the entire season.
dude I have thought precisely the same thing. we have a dubious streak going of losing on opening day; it goes back I think to 2007.
