Rollins hits it to CJ again - right at him but well hit. CJ handles it smoothly for the 3rd out.

I thought Wandy hit a HR off the bat.

Ends up being an RBI single off the RF wall.

    Wow!

...and then he tries (unsuccessfully) to steal 2nd. The Stros really are trying everything and anything out there. I cant even remember the last time a Astros pitcher went for a steal.

It was off a wild pitch that looked to get away from Ruiz but didn't get as far as Wandy likely thought it did.

    Incredible!

With men on 2nd and 3rd and no outs...

    Wandy Ks Victorino.

Induces a fly to deep right to Ruiz.

Werth tries to tag and go home but Pence guns him down at the plate.

    Still 4-0 after 5.

Yahoo! said it was shallow right. Which is it? Surely, Pence didn't gun him down from deep right.

Yea, it wasn't deep right... closer to shallow.

Stoic face with inner worry that he will have to stop this skid tomorrow, pitching against Latos on the road...

He hasn't. Schneider popped out, not Ruiz.

Its got to be awkward for him with his x-team threatening the sweep when realistically, they would have been considered successful just to split.

i think drayton may have made a mistake by not giving wandy a several year extension in the offseason. now he's forced to give him pretty much the exact contract as myers in the offseason, isn't he? could have probably been had for $6-7million/season this past offseason.
