It should be Miller to face the three lefties (well, Victorino is a switch hitter... so just two lefties).
Actually, he timed his jump perfectly and tried to "climb" the wall to ensure it... but his spikes gave way on the wall, and he was still able to catch it regardless. I've seen Carlos Lee ROB HR's on higher walls than that... he can pick it.
Miller is a bigger culprit here... didn't do what he was supposed to do (retire lefties), and barely kept Victorino in the yard. Girardi revealing more scouting reports he had last year on Lidge.
OK, I'm officially pushing the panic button on Berkman. He just swung and missed at three straight fastballs. Something's wrong.
Everybody jumping off briges... till Berkman has a 3 HR game and everybody is at ease. Yes... he's off. Yes... he just swung at 3 straight pitches. Things even out... Berkman is going to have an ultra hot week one of these months where he hits every single ball close to the plate into another stratosphere.
That on star commercial is hilarious. What's the point of the small talk? Guy: i've locked my keys in the car. my dog is inside. Lady: We'll have it opened momentarily. What kind of dog is it? Guy: It's a [forgot]. --one second later-- Lady: Doors open.
