Reggie has yet to show if he's going to be the next Gale Sayers, or the next Dante Hall/Desmond Howard.

The Saints seem to think he's more valuable as a punt returner or pass-catcher, than their every-down back in Deuce McAllister.

Reggie will be a force... but there's no way he's living up to they label of being a player who could "change the league", or being the "michael jordan" of football. At this point, he's got a ways to go before he can even be considered as good as Marshall Faulk was.

Except Atlanta isn't their opponent, and Tampa Bay is. Tampa Bay is really bad right now with Chris Simms done for probably at least this season.

I think the following distinction needs to be made:

    Bush - 23 rush yards, 11 catches for 63 rec yards = 86 yards as a RB.

Return yards = 75 yards (most of which on the punt return TD).

If you don't have him returning kicks (which is stupid, since that may be the one thing he can already be GREAT at in the NFL), his performance as a RB is still leaving much to be desired (despite his less than 6 yards per those 11 catches).

Meanwhile, Deuce is getting better and better, and healthier for NO... they may have to deal him away like the Chargers did to Drew Brees, to avoid the major cap trouble that will ensue by having two highly paid RB's there.

Can you quote me where I said Atlanta was a bottom feeder?

New Orleans had a good game against Atlanta... but this is the NFL, the league of parity. Anything can happen in one game scenarios. Besides, this isn't exactly a Super Bowl team in Atlanta... they were 8-8 last season. Completely mediocre. Yes, they improved in the offseason with the addition of Abraham, but Abraham didn't play in that game.

So no, the Saints beating Atlanta didn't prove a whole lot... it was one game, and it was one game against a very mediocre opponent that was played at home and with a tidalwave of emotion on their side.

Dude, where were you last week? If you can't be bothered to show up when Bush has a bad game, then don't show up at all.

What did he have? Like 25 yards rushing?

    And last week? 22yards rushing....

He's definetly not showing his skills running with the ball. Granted he did have that nice Punt return that gave him a huge amount of his yardage...

Dude, you were no where to be found when Bush had a poor game. Be a man with yours at least....

Nice game winning punt return by Bush. One of these days he is going to have to have some success running the ball, or switch positions.

By not drafting a RB that has yet to show he can really run the ball?

Lets see - Duece has 15 touches and rushes for 123 (8.2 avg per run) and Reggie runs for 23 yards on 9 carries (2.6 avg). Reggie Bush is great at catching passes out of the backfield. He gets more fantasy points for catches and receiving yards than any other thing so far. Ive changed my mind on this a few times but Im glad we passed on him because I feel like we will get a better RUNNING back in the next draft. Adrian Peterson >> Reggie Bush.

Still holding that poster up with one hand huh!

Tell the truth, you were crying over how bad Bush has looked until he returned that punt werent you? Then WHAM, Cupids arrow hit and you just couldnt wait to come here and praise youre man.

    PATHETIC!!!!!

Hey at least I will admit Mario has looked less than spectacular. You need to face the facts man. Bush hasnt done anything special. Even that punt return was just a case of very good blocking. Isnt like he broke any tackles or juked anyone. He just turned the corner and ran down the sidelines untouched. WHOOPIE!! It wasnt any bigger deal than Marios sack.

Seriously. All this Reggie Bush butt-kissing is downright asinine. "Bush 1 Mario 0". Really? What is this, grade school?

No S*$T. I try not to call folks out, but to hide last week and come in now is quite OBGYN-like.
