Keuchel and McHugh going, chalk up another series win.

One the offensive side George Springer quietly has an .873 OPS over the last 8 games. Also Jason Castro only has a .216 BABIP despite a sky high 39% LD%, and a 1/1 K/BB ratio. He's hitting very well this season, but is hitting into some really bad luck.

Good to be in an NL park. At this rate, having the pitcher hit can't hurt that much.

Gonna be interesting to see what happens with Gattis. Do we try to hide him in LF, or do we give him a start at 1B? Doubt they sit him for all 3 games.

Hernandez has thrown well in his past couple starts. Nice pickup thus far.

That's a pretty spacious OF to try and hide Gattis in LF. Might have to be 1B or a day off for him.

Looks like we're also getting the top of San Diego's order. These guys throw a lot of strikes. All have solid K/BB ratios. We'll see a decent number of hits and a lot of strikeouts.

Yep, I see Gattis playing 1st base twice, Carter once in this series.

All of these games may finish in under 2:30.

With the Astros winning the series, of course.

Difficult to hide him at LF in that ballpark, now, he should play 1b instead of Carter

Shields and McHugh is going to be a very good game. Hopefully Mariniseck will play, we need great defense tonight because it should be a low scoring ballgame.

I think they both play 2 games, but we'll see (one game featuring Gattis in LF).

Last series on the West Coast for now! Whew, I can't wait for games to start at 7:10 again. Let's keep the momentum up from Oakland, and steal another series on the road!

My (meaningless) Predictions for the Series:

Game 1: Loss (2-1) Bullpen gives up game winning run in the top of the 9th.

Game 2: Win (5-3) Another quality start for Hernandez

Game 3: Win (2-0) McHugh is a beast.
