Allowing Moehler to even put a ball in play is a sign of a pitcher having a really bad day. 79 pitches for Garland through 3. ML average per inning is 16.5.
Young Puma flashback. Showed his first 2 HR. Just now, he nearly put a hole through Eckstein. Drilled it right at him. Bad luck.
He got all of that. Thought it would make it over the fence. I think it's about 340 to that part of the park.
Highlight reel diving grab by Puma on a scorched line drive. That may be the defensive play of the day across MLB without knowing what happened elsewhere.
After the season, they really....need to look back at all these balk calls as of late, and either change the rule a bit, or make it more known to the players. This is becoming a joke. Lopez rocked his arm a bit..was he trying to fake the runner at first? No. If it's in the rule book, I understand it being called, but something has to be changed at the end of the season.
I've also noticed that he seems to have a bit of a hunchback which makes him look a bit awkward when fielding and throwing the ball. Is "The Hunchback Fetus" a cool nickname? Doesn't quite roll off the tongue like "Puma" or "El Caballo"...
The Hunchback Fetus barely gets the ball to Puma at 1st in time. Hunch had a hitch before he got rid of it.
40 years from now, he could tell his grandkids stories about the legend of The Hunchback Fetus and his glorious 2 week MLB career.
