Yeah Ensberg is done. We should just trade him for Linebrink. It's not like he was hurt or anything. It's not like he's an MVP level hitter.

Don't know what you're watching. Kid hit his spots for the most part, changed speeds well...looked good until the 3rd time through the order. Adrenaline rush wore off and he got hit. You're expecting perfection in his first MLB start?

Damn, they pulled Hensley already. I was hoping we would wear him down and then score a few more runs like last night against Woody.

I watched the one where he looked very good for three innings, then almost every ball the last two innings (even the outs) was absolutely hammered. He looked good early, but he's got a ways to go. 4 runs in 5 innings against this weak lineup won't get it done in the rotation.

Luke looks absolutely clueless today. Some of the pitches he's either taking or coming up completely empty against are right down the middle and ready to hammer.

Still scratching my head over why Garner wasn't getting anybody ready in the bullpen.....I personally would have pulled him (if someone was ready) after the walk to load the bases. Talk about not managing with a sense of urgency.

padres have some nice depth in blum and bard and belhorn....they should give the cards a run in the playoffs.

That might be the worst play I've seen from this team all season.

That's amazingly, unbelievably bad. How in the world? I'm betting a majority of us in this thread could make that play, or at least make it without overthrowing the catcher from five feet away.

Man on 3rd bunted towards third, Springer slid and tried to hand it off to Munson but he like threw it in the air.

Man was that the longest inning ever.
