It is obvious that the Astros run is over and will be for at least a season or two.

They need to start making decisions going forward.

For now I would keep Brown and let him do what he does best --- scouting.

When the season is over, Crane can look for someone else as GM if he wants or keep Brown year to year.

I personally would want to hire creative and smart people going forward- and if I were to have a complaint about Brown, it is that.

 

Good thing French Open is on soon, followed by the World Cup and Wimbledon. I can avoid the Astros till late July.
