I'm starting to have World Series 2021 flashbacks with this offense against the Orioles

Too much pressure on the pitchers to be perfect when the offense is this garbo

Fully agree with this. Yeah blah blah all 100 win teams lose a third of their games etc. That gives me absolutely zero comfort. But these games where the offense doesn't show up is concerning.

I think we are weirdly inconsistent on offense for a team with so many wins.

These are all unnecessary runs for the orioles. They had us at 1.

By getting him to ditch the curveball, his worst pitch, we helped him turn things around.

Not quite sure our offense is just going to all of a sudden become consistent in the postseason. I guess we have to hope our pitching is lights out all playoffs.

The Astros at their peak were a late inning clutch team that put the ball in play regardless of the situation. Lately though those late inning hits have not been there and they battle when they fall behind. I miss Brantley for his contact hitting and they don't really have another player that can do that consistently.

I'm not crazy about Neris especially high leverage. He doesn't miss bats.

I really can't be mad at Neris. That was some very, very terrible luck on the first three hits. Could have been a 1-2-3 inning, and I wouldn't say any of those pitches to those hitters were mistakes.

Neris is probably still hungover from the division celebration

Big changes to the offense next season, yes I'm thinking a head.

If you're wondering, the double came off of what MLB.com called a curveball. Though he's almost completely abandoned it, it appears as if he still uses it from time to time.
