    Not a fan of continuing a game with this kind of rain. Don't need the "I" word to hit us. Hernandez is completely stupid.

    I don’t think they’re calling it yet… but letting the infield get saturated like that isn’t going to increase the changes of a resumption.

    Should have stopped it 10 min ago and then resumed play in 10-15 min when the rain stops (per radar obs). The game is over but sucks a combined no hitter is pending during this rain delay.

    Because he hasn’t been able to get into a game and HE’s unhittable. Same reason Odorizzi started, this was a day off for the rotation.

    They literally showed him the radar two innings ago. Being proactive could have limited the delay.

    Once they get the tarp off they’re looking at least at a half hour of field work to get it to be playable… and that’s a stretch.

    I guess you could blame Ted Barrett then.

    When HPU or any ump says "this is too much", then it's game off.
