The problem isn't pitching Hoyt with that lead, the problem is continually leaving him out there until the game is entirely too close. And by continually I mean the 2 times I can think of.
Ouch. I'm not going to rag on Hinch too much, obviously he's trying to use these guys in an effort to spare the rest of the pen since our starters have been out. But he'd agree that his rope has been a batter or two longer than it should be with these guys.

Astros are very, really, good. They have players everywhere from big league to A. Let Keuchel and a capable #2 be healthy for the postseason. Correa might just be gravy.
Visiting family and didn't catch the score until the game was over. Looks like it was hell in the 9th, but the end result is a W and Giles showed he can be solid in a tight situation when all the momentum in the world was with the Orioles. Plus, Dodgers are being taken behind the shed here and will only have a single loss more than the Astros. I was thinking they could and would run away from the rest of the majors, doesn't seem to be the case.
