Man this Castro guy has incredible tail on his fastball. The pitch tails as much, or perhaps more so, than his slider breaks. Always a red flag for me. I'd be suspicious of a Kevin Brown-roid-rage-driven spike in movement and velocity except his avg fastball velocity is actually down vs previous years. Seems legit. Not internet or twitter legit but real life legit. The O's might have a real gem.
It's painfully obvious the bullpen can't be trusted. Need at least two relievers by the trade deadline.
it's uncanny how many times a situation like this has happened this year. My god, you have to have an insane offense for that to be true. I don't blame hinch, I do feel bad for hoyt though, I had high hopes for him.
