Good enough for 7th in the MLB for walks while missing those 7 games.

Yeah, he totally needed them. Good to see Gregerson back on point.

Say it with me, best record in the American League.

Where is my dear friend that said Valbuena could not hit lefties??? Good thing he is not the manager, he would have pinch hit with Villar in that situation.

Feldman, a lot of walks, but pitched a good game. Also, I prefer Valbuena 5th, Castro 6th and Colby 8th.

Gregerson was nasty today, the ball moved like crazy, he was awesome.

Tomorrow, lets go for 2 in a row

Ah its good to see a real major league team out there ...its been a while since Astros baseball has been fun to watch. George Springer has incredible bat speed through the zone...these guys are really fun to watch. Somebody please educate me ( i dont keep up with minor leagues as such) was Preston Tucker a highly rated prospect ? The guy has sure shown an ability to come through in clutch situations. What is the projected ceiling for this guy? is he really this good or is it just a small sample size. It just seems to me ever since this guy has come up he just keeps getting clutch hit after clutch hit.

Tucker was drafted in the 7th round in 2012..suffice it to say he has surprised and come on strong. He was a top 15 prospect in the Astros system and had a great AAA showing which earned him the call-up... hits for power and avg

No, but he performed extremely well at every level before Houston.

I mean no because he's not a world-class athlete despite being a performer.

Meanwhile rangers have been putting a streak together...think they are going to be a problem for us down the road?

I see his BAIBP is .375 in 47 PA this year so I am guessing there will be some regression coming up, he batted .296 in the minors with .365 OBP and .507 SLG so would those numbers be kind of a ceiling for him? That Slugging percentage is pretty good and he has shown some decent pop at the plate at the MLB level as well.

Considering Valbuena is currently 5-45 against left handers with a .434 OPS, your friend is correct. While 45 at bats is a small sample size, 1 at bat does not change things.

for me it does, plus, in 2012 and 2013 there was a difference, but it was not major. In 2014 there was a difference, and this year, not many at bats, and before the game, he was hitting UNDER .200 for the year.

So, lets continue and see what happens

Carter is now batting 1.000 in his last 1 at bat. I assume you're now a fan and think he should stay on the team?
