When things go bad like this, I tend to treat it as dark comedy. Sometimes, you just have to laugh at a team like the Astros when nothing seemingly goes right. Most other teams are probably laughing and hoping they get to play the Astros next.
yeah, i feel you. i've already gotten to and past that point. now i can watch without really caring about the results. losses are probably better for the future of the team than wins at this point, but at the same time, you can't really root for your team to lose (unless it's the 16th game of the texans season and a high draft pick is on the line).
Aaahh, it's freaking agonizing though. The late '90s and early '00s spoiled me clean through, man; I can't handle all this sub-.500 baseball.
We should trade for that Albers guy. He does have good numbers on the year and can't even crack the starting rotation over there.
