Cody looks like he is on Drugs, No Joke, He needs Mental Rehab for his own well being Dodgers gave up on him, Cody aint focused on baseball, he declined real quick
No thank you his shoulder is not right still. He is about equal to Maldy as a hitter the last two years.
Bellinger will never be as good as Siri. Not close, not ever. 12 M would be a serious over-pay for Siri.
It’s par for the course in MLB. I can’t say I ever really remember any big ticket free agents gone before the winter meetings. I’m actually kind of surprised we got the best relief pitcher on the market (Montero) and one of the top 10 (5 maybe?) bats on the market signed in the Yanks 1B. Both were back to their own teams so not sure that really counts.
On Belinger, I want nothing to do with the guy, and that's before you consider the fact that he's an arrogant douche who said ignorant things about this franchise. He was terrible the last two seasons, with an OPS of .542 and .654 and a combined negative WAR over that time. Yes, he can play multiple positions of need and has a little pop in his bat, but I would much rather the Astros let their own young players develop at center. And even a nearly 40-year-old Yuli is a better, cheaper option at first if they strike out on Abreu and Bell. Let someone else overpay for a 27-year-old reclamation project; the guy isn't worth pursuing.
To me, it’s important for a reliever to have a whip below 100 to be elite my friend. 103 is not Elite. Maybe he can be a 6th inning guy. If he gets it back below 100 then he can be elite and pitch in the 8th inning my friend. Also, I want to have Carlos Correas baby
I played a sport where the de-facto official language of the sport was Japanese. It really was never a problem. I have communicated with Koreans, Germans, Russians, Cubans, pretty much all the Europeans with "Judo Japanese" , which is basically less than 100 words, mostly technical terms really. Since baseball is an American sport the language is English but the same thing applies. I worked out for several years with a Korean that was an Olympic Judo Referee. He was well known enough that when a Korean baseball team was in town (Dodgertown) their coach was a friend. We took our students to the ball park for a visit. The two groups got along great. We spent a few hours with them and got by on Judo Japanese and Baseball English just fine.
We already tried that once. For some reason not many people want cannabis as much compare to alcohol?
I deleted my post to try and get back to baseball On a side note I tried to change the 1 to an i It shows i when I edit it (4 times) but always posts as a 1
