Really? I am not seeing much at the catcher position. I'm not saying they should have paid what Oakland would have required, but I think Murphy is among the best of a very weak and shallow position.
He probably wouldn't have been open to that in Oakland. Atlanta has some sort of crazy voodoo juju thing working with the extensions. At first I thought it was just typical LA kids making sure they are set for life (which I agree with!) in a way that American kids don't see the value in, but it's not just that. It's pitchers. It's position players. White's. Blacks. Guys that have been in the majors for a couple years. Guys with their first taste of the big show. It's really remarkable and they should be applauded. There is obviously a ton of trust between players and management.
Melatonin and Lemon Balm will help. Magnesium too. Don't drink caffeinated drinks or alcohol at bedtime. Don't exercise right before bedtime. Don't watch action or scary movies right before retiring. Listen to soothing classical music. All I can think of right now. Of course there are meds, but I prefer a natural approach.
Some Enya works, too. When I'm having trouble falling asleep, I turn on some Enya. Two to three songs in and I'm out.
I think Matt Moore would be a good add and Jean Segura . Segura off the bench to help rest Bregman Pena and Altuve would be an awesome move over all to go along with Hensley
I like Segura as a bench player. However with 5 OF and 2 catchers (and 4 starting INF) there are only 2 more bench spots. Dubon is already offered arbitration so he will be one of them. That means there is 1 spot left and that player needs to be the back up 1B as well as play other spots. Segura would weaken the team at 1B and take a spot from Hensley

Hensley only got 37 PA in the season. but WOW. 441 OBP 586 SLG 191 OPS+ Post season 9 PAs 8 ABs 2 H 250 BA 333 PA Hits in games 3 and 5 of the WS (2 for 7)

Granted he has more things to work on but he hits for power and has one of the quickest releases in the game. If his pitch framing, game calling, and strikeouts improve they could have something. Murphy wasn't an everyday guy until 26...
What about Anthony Santander Jordan Westburg and Grayson Rodriguez for Garcia, Meyers, Maton, Perez, Whitley and Pedro Leon
Whitley and Maton have essentially no trade value. Meyers has very low value right now. Change those 3 out for top 10 prospects and the Orioles MAY consider it. But they likely feel even that is too low. Ok - I just looked. LOL !! Even my adjustment they laugh hard hang up and refuse to talk to the Astros ever again. Rodriguez is a 60 rated pitcher and 4th overall prospect in baseball. Westburg is a 55 rated infielder and the 76th rated prospect in all of baseball. And you want to trade them a solid #3 starter with 4 years of control left and a bunch of organizational depth?
