More like it's time for the Yankees/Red Sox/Dodgers etc... to Lose Now.

Is he retiring? He just seemed spent this year.

Follow up. Does he have a resume to make the HOF?

I am not gonna engage you on this anymore, it's very telling you came at me and not the poster I agreed with.

    Probably, and Yes.

Zack doesn't have the greatest resume for a pitcher, but 73 WAR is 73 WAR. He's literally the average pitching HoFer.

Didn’t Grienke get Covid and was slow to recover?

I will be surprised if Grienke retires. He may not get the contract he wants though.

Ramirez to third, Bregman to SS?

I think if he has 1-2 more years as a middle of rotation pitcher, he's good. He still showed flashes this year... but he also really relies on having an umpire that is consistent. His umpire splits are nutty...

I would think they’d just play Ramirez at short. Not sure what it would take but Ramirez would be a huge get for the Astros; he’s a better player than Correa.

I think Houston is a relatively bad fit for trading with Cleveland. But maybe a package of Leon, Brown, Whitley, and Javier gets close.

I would pretty much be willing to give Houston’s entire farm system for a package of Bieber, Clase, and Ramirez.

If I were the Stro's I would offer Jose the same contract and say whoever signs first wins.

Ramirez isn’t a free agent until after the 2023 season.

Do you think Ramirez could play a serviceable SS? What about 1st base? Flip Diaz for a prospect and move Yuli to the utility role or vice versa.

I don’t know. He wasn’t good the last season he played any meaningful amount of innings there and it was a long time ago. So from that I would guess he’d be well below average at SS now if not awful. But he’s a good athlete and good defender at 3B so it’s hard to say with certainty he would be bad. Either way I think he’d be better than Bregman.

    That's all you got?

    LOL!

The telling part was how spot-on it was.
