I don't think that tweet says JBJ is out. I took it as Houston intersted and if Boston loses him, it would be a gut punch to them(especially for their young rotation).
No idea although his tweet was stating the obvious. It was already reported that the Astros were interested and it would make sense to go after the 2nd best CF after Springer. And yes, obviously Boston would miss his defense. You or I could have tweeted the same thing haha
Come on. It was a joke...(mostly). Gammons, regarding Astros, seems to be a spokesman for an agent trying to create an illusion of interest in one of the agent's clients.
Agree. We need to sign him now or trade him. Our window is closed without Springer so there's no reason to drag this out to the trade deadline if we can hit it big now either with a signing or a trade.
