I lamented this the other day... no grass, no sun.

    Boo, Tampa. Boo.

I just wonder why baseball, in their infinite wisdom, has two southern teams, both with roofed stadiums, playing each other on opening weekend.

Schedules should be fair, equitable, and generally random. Teams up north should not get more summer games because their stadium sucks in winter spring.

No team wants a bunch of March/April/May home games. The bigger revenues come when school gets out.

Nothing to do with the offseason, just thought it was a cool visual of fans. We should really get a minor league team back in New Orleans. Poor A's.

    Is that the latest model?

    Poor A's, Mets and Padres.

Where are we at in taking over Austin?

Austin was and will always be an Astros town, except for a few bandwagon fans during the brief run that the rangers had. We start Round Rock back this year as well, so all order will be restored in Texas. We just need order restored in New Orleans.

Dang, looks like the A’s, Padres, Mets, and White Sox need to move to Salt Lake, Portland, Vegas, and Nashville.

I’ve always thought Houston should find a way to make it so that their 4 full season minor league affiliates were in Austin (AAA PCL), San Antonio (AA Texas League), Corpus (AA Texas League), and New Orleans (High A Carolina League). Having 2 AA teams and no A ball team might be a great move for a team with such a good eye for fast moving talent.

Funny how they didnt show any Kris Bryant/Seager

MLB's new commercial for the new year. As a long time Stros fan its still surreal as **** seeing how our young players are the face of baseball. We're so spoiled we dont even realize it. Enjoy this time because after a decade I know ill be telling stories to my kids about these times.

Mariners, Twins, Rockies, Dodgers & Braves really benefit from geography. Surprised the Red Sox have a bigger following in the northeast than the Yanks

Bandwagoners. I remember this chart before and all of Texas was Rangers besides the Houston area.

More people live in the slivery thimble of what is Manhattan/long island than the entire New England area.

There's also more Yankee fans in the Tampa area than there are Rays fans.

Problem is that since the CSN-H debacle, Astros games aren't on most TVs in Austin, while Rangers games are.

Since RR is starting up, Im sure some local channel televises them. If I were a fan teetering on the fence between the two, Id rather watch big leaguers in a small stadium than a bunch of minor leaguers in a big stadium.
