There are 25 year olds on top 100 lists every year. Jacob Melton and Drew Gilbert are 25.
Had he stayed down there and hit 40 homers, which he was on pace to do, he could have been a fringe top 100 guy on some lists here and there. Or top 125. Most definitely.

 

Pence was my favorite Astro at the time. He was in the prime of his career and improving. Berkman was 34 and in decline.

 

This would be a huge redemption arc for the past blunders the front office has done.
