    I'm not even sure it is the union. The problem is that being an ump is tough, and it is going to be tough to show a jury of mostly non-baseball fans that his mistakes are worse than other umps.

    Ugh. 9 hole hitter leading off the inning in a National League park. That means the pitcher's spot is due first for us the next inning.
