Just substitute Chris Sampson today for Wesley Wright.......just sickening how we are giving it to them.

Uhhh...nice bunt by Bourn  Just trying to stay positive and forget about the last half inning. That was ugly.

Only the Nationals could give this game back to the Astros.

What in the world happened to our bullpen from last year? It's like night and day. Just one awful performance after another.

They should call up Brendan Donnelly and Alberto Arias and send down Wesley Wright and Jeff Fulchino.

Valverde getting hurt, and now Brocail is hurt, so that only makes matters worse. Starters also don't go far enough into the game. Really only Wright & Geary have been big disappointments. Brocail is one out from having an ERA of 4, which is similar to last year. Hawkins & Byrdak have been good. Sampson has pitched well up until today.

Geary has appeared in 14 games this season and he's given up runs in 10 of them.

3 singles and an error in an inning and nothing to show for it.

At this rate, Roy Oswalt may never get a win this season.

A 10-10 ball game in extra innings. It feels like a joke.

Plus, Geary was phenomenal last year. They don't want to give up on him this early, even if everbody was healthy.

I wasn't exaggerating when I said phenomenal. He was statistically our best reliever and one of the best in the NL last season. I don't think a lot of people are aware of just how good he was in 2008.

No doubt. They can't give up on him yet because there isn't anyone to replace him. The team needs him to pitch like he did last year if they are going to contend for a playoff spot. Truth be told he isn't as good as he was last year, but he's not as bad as he looks right now.
