You might need to go back to the drawing board on this one. ;)

I didnt mean to berate Qualls in my post....I actually think he is solid....and I hoped, as bad as we needed him, that we wouldnt overuse Lidge and pitch him yesterday.

Berkman will certainly be a sight for sore eyes. Hopefully, we can scrap out enough games to be in the race this summer when we can add some pop

Ah, it's probably a local Astros ad I haven't seen. Pretty bad either way. :)

I like Qualls, btw. He just doesn't have much of a resume so far, just a half year (33 innings) last season. Wheeler too, I see good things for him. I could go all year without seeing Chad Harville and Russ Springer pitch and be happy.

actually, it's a national ad...an MLB ad. they have them for all the playoff teams last year...clips of fans talking about how much they love their team mixed with clips of games.

i saw the guys in that ad at the game on sunday. complete with their bumblebee colored cat in the hat style hats.

Qualls is going to come around, he looks a little like lidge two seasons ago... has electric stuff, just needs to find his confidence.

    QUALL CALL!

Geoff Blum's hit two home runs today for SD. I hope Backe doesn't fall apart.

Brandon Backe pitched a one hitter in Game 5 of the NLCS. That game alone was worth the trade. I could care less what Geoff Blum does this year.

I can't believe the guys on 1st and 10 are STILL talking about Clemens and Piazza. I thought it was over by now...

I can't believe you're actually watching a POS show like 1st and 10. It makes Around the Horn look like emmy-winning material.

So true. Right up there with Rome is Burning.

PTI is the only talking head show that seems worthwhile.

Burke getting another start in left tonight. I'm guessing he's going to play against lefties and Scott is going to start against right handers.
