    Lidge is able to go whenever he is called upon. He has even said as much in the past. That's a bunch of bs.

    Oh well...then don't bring him in and we lose the game not being able to hold the lead. :mad:

    thats the second time today the OF screwed up calling a ball (the other dropped between Burke and Willie)....not to ,mention the time that Burke crashed ito Willie but they hung on

    This team needs to make a trade for some middle relief. With our lineup we aren't going to have as many blowouts like we did last season. That's going to put a heavy strain on Lidge having to come into too many close games.

    Every pitcher says they are ready to go every day. NO WAY you bring in Lidge for 2 innings. 1 Inning is questionable.

    You can't take a chance of Lidge going down. If he gets hurt, the season is over. Just about anyone else in our lineup can be replaced except for him. You can't be careless with a guy like him.

    Yeah it might cost us a win here and there like today, but in the long run, you come out ahead.
