    Twins go deep on Stanek. 5-3.

    All the AL West teams have issues... but the Astros actually seem the best set up for the rest of the season.

    Assumed Scott wasn’t available today but I like this decision actually. It’s the bottom of their order and a clean inning. Save Hader for the 10th if we take the lead.

    Same stuff was said about the Rangers being lucky last year.

    Pressly shouldn't have been pitching the 8th until he could figure things out. Oh well, he's doing better now and not coincidentally the Stros are playing better.

    Yeah exactly. That's why I need to hope for it even though I hate having to wish for extra innings. I just hate the rules for extra winnings. But I always want an Astros victory.

    Rangers did mitigate some of that by getting Scherzer/Robertson who were vital… but yes, they were very fortunate to make the playoffs.

    Getting hot in the playoffs is something that can happen to any team at any time… as is going cold in the playoffs. Playoff trends do not even out.
