2nd error of the night for CJ and the 3rd for the Stros. CJ made a great barehand play early the game but has more than countered that with 2 bad plays.
Wallace seemed late to react on the grounder and it sneaks through. CJ probably gets the out at 3rd if he holds the tag. Very rough night for him and Wallace defensively.
Sanchez hasn't been too good defensively over the last week. That could be a very costly error right there.
The one real positive in the bullpen this year. I still don't like having to trust him in pressure situations, but he has been very good for most of this season.
So what will it take for you to like him in pressure situations, considering he now has 18 straight games allowing 0 runs and most of those games have been close?
To see him do it for a long period of time. Lopez is performing well beyond his minor league numbers.
I just realized that means he won't be pitching against us this week. I thought for sure we'd be catching him with a 4 game series.
