    Hunter Pence!!!!

Now with a 9-run lead, I'm feeling a whole lot more comfortable now.

Hunter got a lot of both of those balls but it also seemed like he used some sheer force. Kid is lanky but strong, too.

When's the last time we batted around in a half-inning?

I think it had been quite a while before that though. Not sure.

It should be fairly easy to identify the culprit there. Only about 3 people sitting beyond RF.

LOL.... break up the Astros. No. I know the last time we scored more than 10 runs in a game. But 13 through 4? Unreal. Finally, Lance comes back, and this happens.

Then again, I wouldn't be surprised if we're stuck on 13 for the last 5 innings. Guess the pitchers better not give up 14 tonight.

I wouldn't put it past them but short of an epic comeback, Bud goes to 3-0 to start his big league career. He hasn't looked great tonight though. Escaped a couple of jams already.

Well, it's about time Bud started to struggle a little bit. Good thing the offense is coming through.

If the Marlins put up another crooked number here, we could be in about the same position as yesterday when Roy took a 5 run lead into the 6th. This Marlins team just don't quit.

You do know you don't have to give ALL of the runs back... right Bud?

That was a heck of a pitch. Most of his Ks have been up high.

Listen to the Marlins fans boo. Bums.

Their 6-7-8 hitters have a combined 51 HRs.

Nick Johnson was a nice pickup for them. Gives them a high OBP lefty in the 2-hole.

I was hoping Bud would throw another great outing. Maybe the run support threw him off. He never pitched with any in the minors (a 4-9 record with a 2.62 ERA).

That just leaves Miggy as the only Astro without a hit...
