The Marlins were just reeling off hits there. Bud was able to limit the damage. I think he's going to need to mix up his pitches more to be successful as a starter in the long run. It doesn't look like he has the type of command to rely so heavily on just 2 pitches.
This has all the makings of last nights game. I ain't wasting my night again. Nope. I'll flip over every 1/2 hour or so. The 'Stros were up 5-0 ... I walked my dog, came back in & 6-2. Now bases loaded. Ugg(la)
Yup, about the same distance to home as 2nd and you can save a run. If anything, try to turn the double from home. It was a great effort to field the ball but a bad decision to follow it up.
