That guy was "out" by 15 ft, but his slide looked "safe."

    For real.

Miggy is going to hit the winning homer 2night, Brooksball! :p ;)

    1. I agree. They call those outs most of the time just based on the position of the catcher.

    2. Once again, I like Miggy. I hope he crushes one.

yeah, he looked safe easily, strangely enough. would have been something if the ump called it that way.

He kept throwing high heat and Matsui kept swinging under it.

Just got home but kept track on gamecast via my phone and this would be a devasting loss if the Stros lose...Not sure what happened to Oz he was cruising early but the darn 6th looked rough. Nice rally in the 9th but wow blow a 5 run lead with 1A on the mound...

Oswalt didn't look himself but was going pretty good until the 6th. Hanley hit a blooper that Pence probably could have caught with a better read then Tejada bobbled a fairly soft grounder that should've been at least an out and probably a double play. Roy grimaced early in the game. He definitely wasn't right.

Odds are extremely in favor of the Marlins scoring here. Hopefully we defy the odds but...

WOW..thanks for the recap, that sounded about right for this team! Roy said he was 100% but sure doesnt sound it!

I've said it a few times but I think this winter Wright should get a look as a starter because I don't think he is good enough vs lefties to be a specialist or even a bullpen guy.

Nailz against Hanley (and Pujols earlier).... crap against everyone else.

I guess its all about "concentration".

It would be truly amazing if Wes escapes that situation. So many things in the Marlins favor.

Not the time for Arias to lose grip and throw a WP... just throw some of that nasty stuff.

WOW...like I said truly devasting! White Flag should go up asap even if the Cards lose as being 7 back mid August with the schedule each team has would make a rally incredibly difficult.
